US President Donald TRUMP announced plans to ban large institutional investors from purchasing single-family homes, citing the need to preserve housing affordability for families. The proposal, shared via Truth Social, aims to counter what Trump described as corporate encroachment on the American Dream. "People live in homes, not corporations," he declared.

The move targets Wall Street firms like Blackstone, which have amassed thousands of single-family properties since the 2008 financial crisis.
